How to measure britchen

Measure from the center of the flank to the center of the flank on the other side around the back where the britchen strp will go.
How do I know if I need a horse size or mule size headstall

If you are using a headstall designed for a horse and the cheek pieces are right up to the eyes then you need our mule size with a longer brow band to allow the side pieces to move back away from the eyes.
